With overwhelming excitement from players, fans, and sponsors, we’re expanding our volunteer team to match the energy of this record-breaking event.
With a purse exceeding $100,000, a nearly sold-out Pro-Am, and a growing list of premier sponsors, the New Mexico Open has earned its place among the Top 10 PGA Section tournaments in the United States. This year’s event promises to be bigger, better, and more exciting than ever before …and you can be part of it.
We Need Your Help to Make It Happen
From September 14–17, Turtleback Mountain Golf & Resort will welcome elite PGA professionals, touring players, and amateur standouts for four unforgettable days of championship golf. But behind every great tournament is an even greater team of volunteers. We’re looking for passionate people like you to help us deliver an incredible experience.
“We’ve already seen amazing interest, but with so much happening on and off the course, we’re looking for more people who want to be part of this historic event,” said John “Gibby” Gibson, Tournament Director.

All Volunteers will receive:
- A premium apparel package including a golf shirt, quarter-zip pullover, and hat
- A complimentary golf gift package: up to 3 guest rounds for members and 2 guest rounds for non-members
- Access to the Post Pro-Am Party featuring live music, signature cocktails, and gourmet cuisine
- A front-row experience to one of the most exciting tournaments in the region Volunteer shifts begin around 7:15 a.m. and are available throughout tournament days. You can sign up for one or multiple shifts depending on your availability.
